Prego during holidays? What was I thinking?

Not so sure being prego during the holidays was such a great idea... Already struggling with the Halloween candy!  Don't look in my trash :-D

Cleaning

I stink at deep cleaning... 

I've been wanting a cleaning cubby, but thought I'd spend $7-10 on a thick one.  Scored it for $2.50 so I grabbed 3 (one upstairs, downstairs, & then the last one for other cleaning & dusting)   :-D  Now I'm oddly excited to clean my bathrooms.

That moment when you realize.... That your kid wanted to eat off of you spoon when you have cold like symptoms.  

Bree at two

Bree turns two in just over a week and I wanted to start a list of her likes & dislikes. 

Food: she request cheese & apples all the time.  She could also live off of "bear" (as she shakes her hand = spreading) (bear = bread and butter).  Oh an nanas (bananas) though until she is potty trained I don't plan to give her all that many more. 

Talking: She now attempts most one syllable words, watching my mouth to try to repeat it.  She is starting to say a few two, three word phrases but not a lot.  She also says "thanks moma" when I do something for her, it's SO cute. 

She has always been very attentive to details. She notices a lot of things I would have never guessed a two year old cared about. When building blocks she takes some off and rearranges them to be in a particular spot. 

I really think that she loves the color orange.  She often would grab an orange crayon at work to color with and the other day she grabbed a bunch of orange beads out a multi colored bead set. 

Potty training: she's so ready to use it if she and I both cared to keep to it.  Maybe soon. 

Doll play: she loves to pretend with them like real and will spend a good few mins situating all her dolls and stuffed animals just perfectly. 

Nursery

Aubree will drop to her bum in the hallway to avoid nursery.  She'll even hand me a few toys trying to get me to stay.  But once she's in there and has played with few toys she's fine. She just testing me out. :-D

We'll a friend, Hyrum, used to go in mellow as can be but not so much lately.  The teacher Bro. Pope got a laugh out of her from her expressions. She pointed at crying Hyrum and gave a frustrated look "like do something about that kid". 

New little one along

So we decided to add another to our family... I had forgotten about the cramping near the 6 week and started to get a little nervous something might be wrong. Celestial reassured me that all was well and that I asked her about that last time.  Gosh I'm glad she remembered.  I've been getting a little nauseous I believe after eating.  I think I'm going to try eating smaller portions more often and try not to move to much right after. We'll see if that helps. Anxious for my first appointment later this week and so see the little amphibian, since at eight weeks they look nothing like a baby.  

Bishop Family Reunion

We went to the Bishop family reunion this past weekend.  When looking at the facility online I figured it would be a party up stairs. I didn't think that the dome would echo the sound so much and the lights being on up

I poo, I poo

Bree announced "I poo, I poo" proudly while sitting in the tub tonight. Well I guess I did need to clean her tub anyway :-/   That's what get for doing other things while sitting next to the tub and not watching her every move. Oh well it's a great time to get other things done, like writing this post. 

She's starting to enjoy talking more and is trying more words.  At Lowe's she seen an owl and kept repeating "owl" all while we were there.  

I said temperature sometime today and she pointed to her ear.  She knows I take her temperature via her ear.  So smart.  

She pats her bum when wants a chair. And pulls her hands away from each other when she wants to open a zip lock bag.  

Also she knows how to get my attention when she wants it.  Pretends her shoe fell off. Pretends she can't get the puzzle piece in the right spot. 

Leak and sickies

Ryan went camping with the scouts and I  stayed home. I normally like to spend it elsewhere cause I don't like to be home alone. In the middle of the night Bree's monitor turned off.  I discovered the the breaker in her room flipped. The old humidifier may have done it. Well being home alone at night I'm already uneasy and then unsure as to what caused this freaked me out even more.  Well when I walked deeper into her room to make sure she was fine and my eyes not adjusted to the dark yet from the hallway I didn't see her.  She was in her grey jammies my heart must have skipped a beat. I reached in slowly and was so grateful to feel her fleece material PJ's.  I spent the rest of the night on the ground in her room gun tucked close by.

The next morning I noticed a black spot on the ceiling.  My first thought was burn, cause of the breaker flipping. When I climbed closer I seen it was fuzzy so I knew it was mold.  At first we thought maybe it might could have been the humidifier but no it was the condensing line from the furnace.  We got the HVAC company to fix it so now the problem is all gone but we had the guys fixing the problems all while we were sick.  It would have been nice to just relax.

Bree caught Hand foot and mouth from work and had to stay home from work.  It started with a fever for two and a half days and and we noticed what looked like a rash around her mouth at the end of day two. It could have been worse but she only showed signs on her mouth and hands. She didn't want to eat much solids so we feed her pediasure for a few days. She only threw up a few times so we didn't need to give her pedialight. Though we did have to stay home from work for the week.

Easter

We went to Mike and Debbie for Easter.  I knew Debbie would enjoy watching Bree search for eggs. I got her a couple other cute gifts too. She got a chirping chick and a inflatable kite.  grandma Debbie got her a cute dress and a teddy bear.  Bree loved searching for the eggs and all the attention she got from the three of us.

Bree's interest

She currently loves puzzles, putting things in containers, rocking babies in their car seats and five them toys at work, laughing at herself for attention, pointing at the radio in the car to turn it on, color pictures with crayons, eating bananas by herself.  Tries anything she sees mommy do. 

Doesn't like things in her crib when throwing a fit, she throws them out.
