A Christmas Gift

This was a Christmas gift from Wendy. A few weeks earlier we had gotten together one day and made some home made bread. I told her I would like to make cinnamon rolls with some of it. She said that would be fun and we tried it. I told her a trick that I had learned not long before that of how to cut the dough roll without squishing it. It was by using a string and wrapping it around and pulling across each other. I thought it was a pain to have to lift the roll and put the string underneath. She came up with the idea of crossing the knifes and bringing them together. It was a great idea and worked perfect. Then she shows up with these platters and the even had our last name etched on the bottom! :-D As you can see I couldn't resist these cream cheese frosted sweet rolls before taking a picture.

Primary Class

I was called to be a primary teacher in my ward. The class is fairly small. I wanted to remember them so I took a picture.

Ryan is not a team teacher with me but I think he enjoys coming in with me since it more fun than his class with our ward. There are some interesting members in our ward ans they sometimes get off topic in the lessons. I only hear about this from Mike, Debbie and Ryan since I've been in primary this whole time.

From left to right is Preston, (visitor/grandaughter), Rylee (her lil pose reminds me of all the posses we did as kids), Juliana, Brianne, and Hannah (in front, she reminds me of my friend Hannah).

A Little Summary of Myself

This is one of those tagging things but I really don't think anyone has read my blog recently so I don't think they would even see it. I don't blame them I don't post much.

Joys

1. The Gospel: Life just wouldn’t be the same without it. I’ve gotten frustrated at times with certain things in life but I know that as I followed the guidelines of the Gospel I have been shaped into the women that I want to be. I strive to be who our Heavenly Father would want me to be.

2. Family: My family is my everything. I love talking to them. I learn and grow so much from their opinions, thoughts and feelings. I could spend hours talking to them.

3. Music: It soothes my soul. I seriously believe that music affects the mood that we are in. Church music makes me cry when I let the melody sink in. When I am frustrated with things I like to listen to more upbeat songs to get my mind off of it. Also I love to dance. I’ve been dying to go to a dance… I keep teasing Ryan that I’m going to drag him to singles dance since they don’t have any for newlywed’s haha.

Fears
1. For my children (that I’ll have one day) to not except or GREATLY appreciate the Gospel.

2. Night/Dark/Unexpected Harm (from someone): I greatly fear Satan’s impression on people. He deceives so many to do wickedly. Their actions to follow those whispering are all so evil in their own way. They all lead to harm in one way or another. I don’t want any of those actions to harm me or my family. For ex. Drunk driver hit our car, break into our home while were home, attacked by someone.

3. My house to burn down: If someone broke into your home you would still have the things they could have cared less for. If you home burnt down you would lose most of your possessions and hopefully no one.

Goals
1. Build up Images by Krys – Photography. My goal in a career was something artistic and hands on that I could stay home with my future kids. I feel upon Photography and decided after one class this was it. I chose this career so that I can stay at home and raise my own kids. I greatly believe that most of the problems in today’s world are because of poor child rearing. I want to be there for my kids and raise them to the Lord.

2. Stay as debt free as possible.

3. Raise my Children to the Lord.

Collections/Obsessions

1. Music: Like mentioned above I love it. I had the most music in the family. On road trips I was the one bringing the music. In my teen years that is, I think Gary had a lot too. Also I LOVE the Piano! I want to collect more of it. But it’s got to be from certain artist, two that I do like are Jim Brickman and Jon Schmidt.

2. Clean: If the house it dirty and cluttered it drives me Crazy. I can tolerate dust but items everywhere make me tense up. I feel like I can’t function properly without tension with it mess. I can’t wait till I tuck more stuff away when we have the house more to ourselves.

3. I collect pictures like crazy. Well if I like a images and think it’s inspirational. I’ll save it to my computer. I don’t think I’ll ever get to try ALL of them. There are just way too many that I love. Some of them are even amateur pictures but were inspirational in one way or another. I ricochet ideas from things all the time.

Random facts

1. Wisdom: Many people have told me that I have great wisdom. I’ve found that I love to learn and grow from things around me and others wisdom. I always enjoyed learning from others. The only thing that I feel is that is sad is that I’ve been told that I have wisdom beyond my years but it’s sad to see that others my age do not have the wisdom that they should have had.

2. Goofy: I love my goofy husband! Life would be boring without being a little goofy. I love funky his funky impressions. When I get frustrated (like girls do) he can take my tears and turn them into laughter in only a minute or two.

3. Inspiration: I get inspired all the time from so many different things. Like mentioned above I ricochet ideas from things all the time. Also when I see things I want to try and do them myself. I just can’t seem to find the time or money to try all the home maker crafts, recipes, hobby things… etc that I would love to do.

Baby Kadence

Tara was supposed to be induced to have her yesterday morning. All of the rooms were full so she never was admitted to a room. She called back later to see if they had cleared up. They hadn't but she was still determined to have that baby since Pete had already taken the day off. I teased her that Heavenly Father wasn't ready to let Kadence's sweet spirit go yet. Lois teased she was spending her last moments with great grandpa Sanders.

She was eating spicy foods drank some oil (not sure what Oil it was) walked alot. I thought for sure she wouldn't be able to induce herself but that crazy girl some how did it.

Right before Celestial's baby shower she came over and dropped her boys off crying cause she was in pain from contractions. Possibly around 6:00pm I think.
She ended up having her with out the epidural. After her water broke Kadence came faster then they thought she would so she missed that chance of pain killer.

She had baby Kadence on 5/5/09 at 10:30 and both are doing great and she weighs
6lb's 8oz.

More pictures to come.
