Standing and a walking
Kendra decided to attempt standing on Christmas Day. We all cheered her on so she decided to then take her first step that night since she had quite a few cheer leaders. She is determined and keeps practicing standing.

Know what I want
When I try to give Kendra a toy (when in the midst of a bunch of toys) a lot of the times she ignores me and reaches for a different one. She definitely knows what she wants. I don't think Aubree was this way. I think she usually grabbed the toy I was giving her.

Settled
So funny the little quirks of each kid. I've noticed that Kendra settles down for bed much easier if she has something in her hand. Same with when I change her diaper. She is much more cooperative when I have given something to hold.

Kendra sleeps
Kendra has been so much easier to put to sleep. When she was a baby I often feed her and set her down so she could watch us. She'd put herself to sleep. Now she will go to sleep easy watching us from her car seat (fully strapped in) at day care, or as soon as I sit down on the rocking chair with a blanket and a binky she lays her head down. SO easy.

Daddy
Ry was preparing for subbing for gospel doctrine (and I loved it, It's a thing I've seen my dad do a lot, just studying the scriptures) and it got me to thinking of the things I love most about Ryan.
The things that are big plus about him.
-Playing with the girls and interacting with and giving Kendra kisses. I've always adored when a guy interacts with a baby.
-On occasion when he would leave the house in his church clothes during the week to help give someone a blessing.
-Seeing him study scriptures/talks to prepare for a talk/lesson.
- When he does something out of the norm, without being asked.
I will try and remember to add more but those are a couple I wanted to put down before I forget to make note of them.

Bree making pizza
Pretending to make pizza during sacrament. Aprons & hats needed too... She wanted to tie them on Daddy, mommy, and Kendra too. We were trying SO hard not to laugh.😃
Also another favorite saying of hers is "he mile a me" (she smile at me).

Kendra at 5 months
She doesn't like to be burped over my shoulder if she has larger bothersome burps. And will arch backwards on my lap too. She likes to hold hands. Whenever I go to give her her binky she grabs a hold of my hand to keep me there. She used to hold her own hands like she was praying. She is an adorable little chunk that may stay brunette. She LOVES to laugh (dad and Aubree especially love to make her laugh) and loves watching Aubree. But gets anxious (doesn't love) when Aubree is holding her. She looks at me like mom are you sure about this, I'm not loving this. She doesn't take her binky well or go to sleep well when she does have a burp. Makes it easier to read her. She actually kind of likes to put herself to sleep. When she was Newborn I would feed, burp and then set her down so it's kind of nice. I kind of like it, but I like to still rock her sometimes.

Bree sayings
"It look a food" "He look a me". I think she uses he a lot because she usually hears me referring to daddy. "I hold BB" "Arr, me a pirit (pirate)" She also LOVES rubbing & kissing Kendra's head. "A bunch, a bunch".

Kendra's birth
I was doing okay without the epidural until he broke my water. I was able to breathe through the contractions. It was funny because after I went to the restroom the contractions dropped off. They were hardly noticeable. After he broke my water about 20mins later I felt the burning from quickly increasing in dialation. I decided I really wanted the epidural. Which getting it is good for me cause I tear with the larger babies.
7:15 - Pitocin
7:35 - 4.75 dialated
10:45 - broke my water
11:30 - finished getting the epidural
12:00 - dialated to an 8
12:12 - dialated to a 10
12:24 - Kendra born 8lbs 3oz 20 1/2 in long.
She has dark hair like Daddy and Aubree had when they were born. I'm curious to see if it goes blonde like theirs also or stays dark. She has shorter eye lashes, so I think she's taking after me on that one. Her eyes seem darker then what I remember Aubree's looked like. She does look a lot like what Aubree looked like as a baby so I'm curious to see how much they are the same.

First auto accident
So I had been bumped from behind a few months ago but it cause no damage so I'll hardly count that.
I went to Caldwell to pick up a key for Ryan for an upcoming campout. I was trying too look at so many different things, since I hadn't been through this town before. Last I knew was that the light we green, but I was looking ahead to make sure my lane was not forced to yield left or turn soon after the intersection. As I was proceeding through the intersection I seen two cars coming at me honking there horns. I figured that since there were to vehicles entering the intersection not just one that the light must have changed on me, and I didn't realize it. So here was the outcome on my car... :-( Sad story. But thankfully it wasn't all that bad, and we weren't hurt. Aubree's response was "ut oh". So glad it wasn't worse. But of looking forward to paying the deductible for the repairs but we don't want the car to rust and with it effecting the wheel we want to make sure it's safe.
That moment when you realize....
That moment when you realize.... That your kid wanted to eat off of you spoon when you have cold like symptoms.
Barking Spider
Dad teased Aubree that there was a barking spider near her. She thought he was talking about something he had seen on his phone. So she asked him "I see?". For some crazy reason this was just hilarious to me at the right moment. It got me laughing so hard that I I couldn't stop crying either.
