You make your mark
While I was making room for Mike and Debbie to move in I moved the elliptical. While moving it Aubree said "you make your Hand Painting". As in she was referring to how the dinosaurs in the "The Good Dinosaur" movie make their mark (like the Indians put their hand print on the wall). Doing harder things make your mark apperantly.

Eyelashes
Aubree says that before Kendra was born we no know her a boy. Her got out and her a girl. Her got theses (pointing to her eyelashes). I guess she has seen enough movies and books that they have eyelashes on the girls but not the boys.

Bree making pizza
Pretending to make pizza during sacrament. Aprons & hats needed too... She wanted to tie them on Daddy, mommy, and Kendra too. We were trying SO hard not to laugh.😃
Also another favorite saying of hers is "he mile a me" (she smile at me).

Barking Spider
Dad teased Aubree that there was a barking spider near her. She thought he was talking about something he had seen on his phone. So she asked him "I see?". For some crazy reason this was just hilarious to me at the right moment. It got me laughing so hard that I I couldn't stop crying either.

Kneading Bread
I was unsure of what to get Mike for Christmas so I decided on something I knew he'd enjoy. Homemade bread & his moms rolls. He can enjoy it whenever he would like.
Well Aubree wanted attention so I let her stand in her high chair while I worked on the bread. She was playing with a kitchen towel on the counter mimicking me kneading the bread. Oh she SO loves to copy me! It's so cute!

Smarty pants
Aubree has been signing "more" and "all done" here and there. She knows what the toilet is for just doesn't know how to tell me when she needs to go just yet. She can go up and down the stairs all by herself. Then today she finds a small hand towel and starts rubbing it on her tummy. So funny.

We have a Walker
She has been walking for about the last two weeks. She makes about halfway across the room now before she goes back to a crawl.
She loves stairs and can go up and down them by herself. She still loves books and flipping through the pages.
She also is great at using the potty. She just doesn't know to tell me just yet. So I sit her on it sometimes when I think she might go #2. I gave her a book so she didn't get too squirmy.
She has also been using her signs "more" and "all done" a little. It's so cute. She mostly does all done but the other day she did " more while on the couch asking for some food. :-D

Walking
Aubree is on the verge of starting to walk. She is great at free standing. She just needs the courage. Well last night she gained the courage. She starting to work on taking those first steps. She just gets so excited that she leans her body first before moving her feet.
Here is a picture of Aubree playing in the kitchen cabinets.

Ear infection
She ended up with with ear infection. So she is taking Amoxicillin to get rid of it. That stuff looks and smells familiar, but gosh it's got too much pink dye in it. I hope it doesn't stain anything (mostly her bibs) permanently.
Also she is now ten months: She loves to open cupboards, eat everything off the floors, shake things that make sounds. She will walk along everything she pulls herself up to but anytime you try to get her to come to you she plops right down. Doesn't want to walk yet. She loves climbing the stairs but I've blocked them off for now. I've been working on teaching her to back down them but I can tell her brain isn't ready to process it yet. She will shake her hand at me to help her but accidentally starts going up until I start moving her legs. Once I start helping her she does it right. I give he kisses all the time so she loves giving me them back. Sometimes I'll be just holding her and she'll sneak one by swinging her neck down and around. SO cute. Also if she is nonstop talking I know she is getting fussing. She'll normally gibber jabber by taking breaks if she's just talking. She loves to shred paper and especially toilet paper. If I don't want her to put something in her mouth I'll just give her a binky and she's pretty good about keeping it in for a bit. I've contemplated a couple of times to get rid of the binky at nap/bed time but then teething or sickness kicks in. Also often I'll put things on her head just playing with her and she actually does it to herself now.

So sweet cuddle bug
Aubree has been struggling with sleep for the past month. I think it's a combo of supplementing with formula (gassier), and teething. I have ended up falling asleep on the rocker at least part of every night.
By five a.m. when she wakes up I'm tired and just feed her back to sleep. Most times in the rocker but the last few times in our bed. It's easier for me to get up and make Ry's lunch that way.
Yesterday I climbed back in bed with her. She woke at about eight, like normal lately. She crawled around on our bed for a bit and then cuddled with me. She laid her face against mine, cheek against cheek, faces facing the same way. She laid there for a few minutes. It was just so precious. Then she moved her head forward on to my pillow and went back to sleep. This made the late nights and staying at home with her SO worth it. If I was working I'd never have gotten to enjoy sleeping in with her like that. :-D

Aubree is crawling
Since we got back from our Vegas trip (5/1/13) she has been all for crawling. First with one knee and one foot but now she is better at two knees except for on the linoleum kitchen floor. That's when she likes to bear/froggy crawl.

Walker & reflux
You were to small to reach the ground at Christmas time in your walker. Today you had your foot flat on the ground and were pushing yourself backwards on the floor in the bathroom.
You have had the symptoms of acid reflux for a while but with you being my first little one I haven't noticed what is normal. The last of your older cousins that I've really been around before you were born a few years older than you. I knew you had trouble with burps taking forever to get all of them out. I'd lay you down for a nap and you'd usually wake not long after. I got a prescription for your reflux but it didn't seem to help as much as I thought it would. It seems to help with the arching of your back but not your spit up or sleep. Today I tried to feed you my milk via bottle to see if that helped. You didn't spit up today but you seemed to cough a little. I'm guessing it's because you aren't used to keeping all the milk fat down.

Sleepy
Your so cute when you get tired now. You are starting to rub your eyes instead of the side of your head above your ear. Also if I'm holding you upright up to my shoulder while burping you, you will bury your head into my shoulder. I love it, it's so cute.
You seem to still not really get that great of sleep during the day. But the Dickerson's (two houses down, in the ward) watched you during the Boise temple rededication and swaddled you up in a thick blanket. You really seemed to like it cause you slept for quite a while. I tried it today and you still woke up cause I wasn't giving you your gas drops. Mom must be eating something that upsets your stomach or something.
You still don't like tummy time (you try balancing on your tummy) but sure do love standing. You would be able to stand on your own if you knew how to hang on to something to keep your balance. Your legs are very strong.
Also it's kind of funny when I'm helping you with gas by squishing your legs into your tummy you often lock up your legs but today you didn't. You must be learning that I'm helping you to get it out and feel better.

Little hands
Aubree is really enjoying grabbing at anything in her reach so I sometimes let her play with the burp cloth.
She's starting to realize and play with both of her hands together also.
When she got her two month shots the Dr. Said she was really good at moving her head around (side to side, all around) which is usually not until 6 months he said.

Sad eyes
Yesterday was her two month appointment and she got some immunization shots. It was SO sad looking at those beautiful big eyes looking at me with such sadness. It was as if she was asking me to help her. And that was even before she got the shots. The first one was a liquid or a syrup in her mouth. From expirience I already know she doesn't like those. :-(
The sad thing is looking at the shot record card it looks like there will be many more to come.

I'm in a size two
Yesterday we decided that she's ready for a size two diaper after two blow outs a church. I've been cleaning a lot of blow outs lately. I feel like a just moved her up to a one. Thankfully one of the packages of one is still unopened. I'm going to exchange that one. Now what to do with the other ones. Keep them for next baby or just hand them off. Hmm
Also she has been sticking her tounge out a lot in the last couple of days. Ry says she gets it from me haha. That was the first flirty thing he did, tease me about sticking my tounge out while serving.

Tummy time
When I put Aubree on her tummy to get her working on lifting herself and head up she balances herself on her tummy and lifts her legs also. This only last so long as she gets mad quickly. She last longer if I prop her up on the boppy.
She also is quite the jibber jabber. Her new noise she makes almost sounds like she has gum in her mouth, talking with her mouth wide open.

Bottle and Sleep
Mom hadn't given me a bottle since the Las Vegas trip so this morning she gave me another one. I was persistant, I didn't want it, but so was mom. Mom knew if she gave in it would be even harder next time. She tricked me by keeping it in my mouth while after I fell asleep with it in my mouth. It worked! Now to give her another one while she is more alert. I think I'll try another one later today.
That last day or so my tear duct on my left eye has left my eye all gunky. Mom just assumed it's fine cause it's not red and I'm not extra fussy or anything. Dad is always doing a great job at making sure I'm doing okay. He called grandma Bishop to asked her. Mom feels that I've already got dad wrapped around my little finger.
Also the last day or so I've really been into sucking on something to soothe me to sleep. Hopefully I'm not already teething! :-/
Sleeping: When sleeping I already snore. Must have got that from mom hehe. When waking up I like to stretch like mom. Moms favorite is when I arch my back and stick my like bum out. Then also while I was still in moms tummy she felt little tembles. She didn't know what it was, kind of nervouse the they might be seziures or something but didn't worry too much since they were just in one spot. Ends up that I shake my little wrist when waking up. Too cute!

First Vegas Visit
Mom decided to pump into a bottle to help keep the drive as short as possible. I did great for only 6 weeks old. Mom only needed to take me out for burps and changing my diaper.
We got to see how big Autumn is getting and how tiny Kenadee is. Autumn is very entertaining crawling, pulling herself up and putting everything she can find in her mouth.
I got in the jacuzzi Friday night with my mom while dad watched you.
Sunday was Deanna's wedding so I left you with grandma Sanders to watch you but it ended up that Alisha and Greg watched you most during the cerimony. We turned around and picked you up for the reception. They are members so they had their reception where they met, at a dancing club. You went to a club at six weeks old. They rented the place out so the only bad thing resembling the club was the pictures on the walls, eww. I was really surprised at how well you did with the noise though. You were tired so you cried for a bit. We were about to leave but then you slept through it. I was covering your ears though because when the DJ would anounce anything he was very loud.
We went to visit great grandma Sanders, Lois, and Don. You were making all sorts of cute faces at Lois and talking to her.
Mom gave me some bottled shredded beef for Christmas. I've been telling everyone that I won't be coming back for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Ryan says it's up to me and that we can but we added it up and gas for the Jetta is $200 to travel there.
We have another reason not the take the trip so soon. Aubree did great on the trip home but a little before Twin Falls she was done. She didn't want to stay in the car seat anymore and she was done with the bottle.
